TOP: PYRITE STONE 

 

  • Pyrite is a natural crystal and will have colour and shade variations. 
  • Oxidation marks on pyrite are mineral composites and are normal and natural characteristics of the stone and acceptable. This cannot be eliminated. 
  • By nature, any stone is prone to scratches over usage. 
  • Polishing marks/ lines are not scratches. 
  • Dust the table gently with a microfiber cloth to prevent abrasive dust particles from scratching the surface. 
  • Pyrite can tarnish when exposed to HIGH usage of moisture, so avoid using wet cleaning methods. A dry cloth is usually enough. Although all our surfaces are treated and sealed for water absorption. 
  • Gentle Cleaning Solution: If necessary, lightly dampen a cloth with a mild, pH-neutral (ex: acid, hard water) cleaner. Avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners, which can react with pyrite. 
  • Use Table Mats and Coasters: Protect the surface from scratches, hot dishes, and condensation by using table mats, coasters, and trivets. 
  • Prevent Contact with Oils: Avoid placing oily or acidic foods, turmeric, beverages directly on the table, as these can lead to stains and corrosion. 
  • Polish Periodically: Consider having the table professionally polished once a year to restore its shine. Avoid DIY polishing kits, as they may contain abrasive elements. 
  • Sage Living will provide maintenance at cost which will be discussed as and when required. 

 

 

      BASE: STAINLESS STEEL 

 

  • Sage Living manufactures products using high grade stainless steel. 
  • As the product is used, it will display marks such as scratches; this is normal and to be expected.  
  • A bent metal will naturally have a wrinkled mark on the bent area. 
  • Slight bumps at welding joints are normal. 
  • Avoid floor cleaning agents that are high on acids. Use Ph-neutral cleaners or plain water around the dining base. As the Stainless steel on the base is a high polish 304 grades, any etching is easily visible. 
  • Glass cleaners have proved to be very good at removing fingerprint stains on stainless steel. Spray the cleaner on a microfiber piece of clothing and rub the surface in a circular motion gently. Finally, wipe it with a dry cloth to remove any residue. 
  • Dust often using a clean, soft, dry, and lint-free cloth. 
  • In case of blot spills, wipe with a clean, damp cloth immediately. 
  • Do not use harsh or abrasive chemicals, furniture polish, or any surface cleaners on the products. 
  • Protect from heat and floor cleaning acidi based cleaners or liquids. 
  • Do not lift tables by their tops, leaving the base unsupported. 
  • Do not drag the furniture across uneven floor 
  • Scratches, dents caused by sharp objects during daily usage are difficult to polish or remove entirely. Therefore, take care to avoid them as much as possible. 
  • Hardware may loosen over time. Periodically check to make sure all connections are tight.

  • At Sage, we aim to ship our products quickly and safely. When you order from our website, all the ready-to-ship products including furniture, lighting, and mirrors take about 7-15 days to deliver. For bespoke products, we take 60-120 days to deliver.
  • We ship anywhere within India.
  • We also ship internationally. To know more about international shipping and export, kindly write to us directly at support@sageliving.in.
  • Once your order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Before making payments on our platform, the user should ensure to provide correct, complete, and accurate information of the address and any failure in delivering our products due to the wrong address and information provided by the User shall not hold Sage Living liable.
  • Our working days are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm excluding festivals and holidays. We or our logistics partners do not offer 24/7 assistance.
  • Sage Living partners with third-party logistic service providers to deliver the product to their Users. The User will also be provided with an estimated date of delivery and details of the delivering partner of the purchased product on the order delivery and tracking email.
  • A maximum of two attempts will be made by our delivery personnel to deliver the order. If the User continues to remain unavailable after two attempts, Sage Living reserves the right to cancel the order.
  • Users are requested to arrange for their manpower to get high volume and large products to the higher floors and areas without service lift access. The responsibility of our logistics partners to deliver the large products is restricted to the ground floor or maximum first floor of the building.
  • For the safe transit of our products like fragile items, a few of them are packed with wooden crates for securing the product during multi handling. The customer should open the goods themselves or with the help of a professional and inspect the same. Any defect or damage must be reported to the delivery person and to be addressed to Sage Living customer care along with pictures at support@sageliving.in within 48 hours. The description of defect/damage should be mentioned on the Challan/ Proof of Delivery (POD).
  • Please note that the Delivery Personnel is not obliged or authorized to open the furniture or packages. Please note that their duty is to deliver the goods to the customer, and they are not directly employed with Sage Living. You are requested to cooperate with them and not force them to open the crates, packages, etc.
  • From the date of delivery confirmed, for the first 10 days, holding your order at our warehouse will not be charged, thereafter charges will apply as per the volumetric weight of the product as mentioned below.
    • 0 to 50kgs: Rs 50 per day + GST
    • 50 to 100kgs: Rs 70 per day + GST
    • 100 to 150kgs: Rs 100 per day + GST
    • Above 150 kgs:  Rs 150 per day + GST
  • Sage Living is not responsible for delays in shipment due to reasons which are beyond our control which is mentioned below. Further Sage Living disclaims all liabilities that may arise in account to inform the User of forecasted delays in delivery of the purchased products on the platform. Sage Living shall be under no obligation to compensate for such delays.

Bespoke Order Delivery

Our product fees cover the processing, handling, and packaging of your order. Delivery fees are not included.

    • Truck Delivery charge is a flat rate based on two factors: (1) the distance from our warehouse to your location, and (2) the amount of your overall order (in CBM).

Preparing For Delivery

It is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items will fit through any access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and corners into the desired location.

What To Expect On Delivery day?

Once you are notified that your order is ready for delivery, we ask that you take receipt of them within the same day. At the time of scheduling, please notify me of any special requirements necessary to ensure successful delivery. An authorized individual must be present during your scheduled delivery to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery challan.

Off-loading the truck and moving products to the desired locations and labor has to be arranged from the customer end. Sage Living does not take responsibility for off-loading and assembly of furniture. However, all the required assembly instructions will be provided along with our packaging and will also be available on our website.
